Job Summary
This work study student position is responsible for providing administrative and events support for the Office of Career and Life Development.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- General administrative support for the Office of career and Life Development,
- Meet weekly with Clinical Placement Associate to effectively manage work-study assigned projects.
- Coordinate with Office of career GA to print and distribute event posters and other office materials.
- Maintain a detail-oriented database of community partners, ensuring that it is up to date and accurate.
- Create and maintain department newsletter or articles/social media highlighting students and agency work in the field of clinical mental health counselling.
- Utilize Canvas or another online platform to create posters and flyers for events. Assist GA position as needed in the creation of departmental materials.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a warm and welcoming office area and environment for the department (e.g., keeping displays and tea station clean and tidy, organizing office supplies, removing recycling etc.).
- Research potential new practicum and internship clinical placement sites for students in and around the Boulder, Denver area.
- Collaborate in implementing ways to appreciate and thank clinical placement partners.
- Support for special events, including Practicum and Internship Fair as assigned; including, but not limited to preparation, set up and staffing the event.
- Other administrative duties and projects as assigned.

- Ability to create and maintain a positive team environment and behave professionally with everyone encountered in the course and scope of the job duties.
- Experience paying consistent attention to detail in a professional setting.
- Experience compiling and organizing large amounts of data in a professional setting.
- Demonstrated confidentiality and trustworthiness in working with sensitive data.
- Previous experience with Outlook, Excel, Word and related programs, or the ability and willingness to learn these programs
- A record of professionalism, punctuality and good attendance.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be focused and self-directed, and demonstrate initiative.
- Strong communication and writing, and editing skills.
- Intermediate clerical, organization and filing skills.
- Experience in data entry, technology and attention to detail a plus.

All regular full-time and part-time faculty and staff, including student workers, accrue sick leave benefits. Full-time and part-time staff positions accrue vacation and personal time. All leave accrual rates vary based on the position, hours worked, and years of service.
