Job SummaryThe Outreach Representative work study is part of a team responsible for activities related to the recruitment, admission and enrollment of new undergraduate and graduate students as well as to strategic and development initiatives. The Outreach Representative will interact by phone, text, email, social media, and in person with prospective students and alumnx as well as conduct admissions and development research.[EH1] [EH2]
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Makes outbound calls and texts to prospective undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumnx.
- Sends follow-up emails to prospective undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumnx.
- Describe academic and co-curricular life at Naropa.
- Learn about academic offerings at the University and respond to basic questions.
- Describes the admission process to the prospective student.
- Actively maintain accurate contact and demographic information in all systems.
- Completes records of telephone interactions.
- Warmly connects callers with the appropriate party for follow-up.
- Conducts data research to identify qualified prospects and engaged alumni.
- Attends periodic meetings to stay up-to-date on the admissions process and what is new at Naropa.
- Attends Experience Naropa recruiting events.
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Admissions Operations.

Student must be awarded federal work study hours by the Naropa Financial Aid office in order to fill this position.

- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Outlook, and data base entry/management.

A comprehensive benefits package is available to full-time employees who work a minimum of 30 hours each week. Employees who work fewer than 20 hours per week are eligible to participate in Naropa’s retirement plan only, which includes up to 2.5% employer matching.
All regular full-time and part-time faculty and staff, including student workers, accrue sick leave benefits. Full-time and part-time staff positions accrue vacation and personal time. All leave accrual rates vary based on the position, hours worked, and years of service.
