Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to Naropa Community Counseling staff and interns, in order to support the smooth functioning of the clinic site. This position is located at the Naropa Community Counseling Center on Table Mesa Drive. Applicants must be able to arrange reliable transportation and commit to a regular schedule.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive team environment and behave professionally with everyone encountered in the course and scope of the job duties.
• Administrative duties, including, but not limited to answering phones, welcoming clients at reception desk, scheduling meetings, basic data entry, filing, and managing office supplies.
• Support clients with clinic information and explaining intake and registration processes.
• Transcribe and monitor waitlist entries, and schedule intake appointments as necessary.
• Help maintain a clean and uplifting clinic environment, organize the reception area, and maintain and supply the clinician rooms as appropriate.
• Perform routine customer service tasks requiring good listening and response skills, basic clinic knowledge, and a friendly, responsive attitude.
• Assist with social media posting and visibility of clinic and services in the community, with guidance from Practice Manager.
• Help prepare resource lists for clients and staff.
• Assist with the Medicaid process, including, but not limited to, data entry, verifying patient eligibility, and reviewing and submitting CCAR forms.
• Assist Director with a variety of research projects as directed.
• Assist Interns/Externs (for example; onboarding, promoting use of art supplies).
• Help maintain Quality Control in clinic by auditing client files as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• All job candidates must demonstrate an appropriate level of understanding of and appreciation for the values of Naropa University and the capacity to demonstrate an integration and embodiment of these values as evidenced in work, communication, collaboration styles, and other general workplace behaviors.
• Student must be awarded federal work study hours by the Financial Aid Office in order to hold this position.
• Ability to create and maintain a positive team environment and behave professionally with everyone encountered in the course and scope of the job duties.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word, in particular).
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrated confidentiality and trustworthiness in working with sensitive data.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and a professional approach.

Preferred Qualifications: 
• Previous customer service experience.
• Social Media and Marketing knowledge and experience.

During regular daily activities, employee must be able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: lift up to 25 pounds, stand, walk, sit, handle/finger, bend at the waist, reach above shoulder level, kneel, crouch, and interruptions/distraction.
